GRIT TO GLORY
Your triathlon journey needs to consider a 360˚ approach.
Yes, you will need physical strength and mental stamina, but you will also need to consider other elements that can impact your training progress and on-the-day performance, such as diet/nutrition, social support network, competing demands on your training time, etc.
360TT can help you plan, prepare, train and compete.
BENEFITS OF WORKING OUT
Build Confidence
Research into sports supports a positive association between sport participation and an increase in self-esteem.
Aside from the physiological benefits, participation in sports can help promote psychological benefits which may lead to happiness and increased success.(1)

Boost Your Mood
Today the most often reported mental and physical problems are anxiety, depression, stress, and low self-esteem. Significant findings from a study of adolescents and their self-reported perceptions of sport involvement reported more participation in sports also reported enhanced emotional and behavioural well-being. A German study has shown that those who participated in sports were happier than those that did not participate in sports. The researchers found a causal link between sport participation and happiness. (3)
Increase Energy Levels
It's true . . . moving more can help give you more energy!!
This is achieved through several mechanisms.
To begin with, cellular-level changes occur inside your body when you exercise. Exertion spurs your body to produce more mitochondria inside your muscle cells. Mitochondria are known as the powerhouses of cells, because they create fuel out of glucose from the food you eat and oxygen from the air you breathe. Having more of them increases your body's energy supply.
Exercising also boosts oxygen circulation inside your body. This increase in oxygen not only supports the mitochondria's energy production, it allows your body to function better and to use its energy more efficiently. Plus, your body gets a boost from an exercise-induced increase in hormone levels that makes you feel more energized.
In addition to helping your body create and use energy, regular exercise promotes better night time sleep. Deep sleep is crucial to your overall health and to feeling well rested and energetic when you wake up in the morning.
